Mode of Selection for IIT Jammu Vacancies 2018:

The Institute will conduct Written Test/ Trade Test/Computer Test for these posts and only those candidates, who qualify the said tests etc. in progressive steps, following the standards in general, will be considered.

Outstation candidates called for Written Test/Trade Test/ Computer Test for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts will be paid 2nd Sleeper Class Railway Fare and for Group ‘A’ posts will be paid 2nd Tier AC Railway Fare from the place of duty/residence to the venue of tests and back by the shortest route. The reimbursement will be made through Demand Draft or the amount admissible may be transferred to their Bank Account on submission of RTGS details by the concerned candidate, and no cash will be paid on the spot.

FCI Jammu Watchman Selection process:

PHASE-I

WRITTEN EXAMINATION

Written examination will consist of a single Examination Paper for duration of 120 minutes. The WRITTEN TEST will comprise of 120 Multiple Choice Questions of General Knowledge and General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude and Reasoning, Language (Hindi and English) and Current Affairs.

Note: All questions carry equal 1 mark. There will be no negative marking. 2. The Question Papers for Written Test will be trilingual i.e. in English, Hindi and Urdu .

PHASE-II

TENTATIVE PATTERN OF PHYSICAL ENDURANCE TEST (QUALIFYING NATURE):

The successful candidates will be called for Physical Endurance Test which will be of qualifying nature only. The criteria will be as follows:

FOR MALE CANDIDATES:

(1) 1000 Meters Race – 5 Minutes and 30 seconds in one Go.
(2) Long Jump – 3.2Meters in 3 Chances.
(3) HIGH JUMP – 1.1 Meters in 3 Chances.

FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES:

(1) 800 Meters Race – 5 Minutes and 30 seconds in one Go.
(2) Long Jump – 2.5 Meters in 3 Chances.
(3) HIGH JUMP – 0.75 Meters in 3 Chances.
